For this lesson use a playground titled 1.Swift 3 Tutorials by the Apps-Top.com : Swift Basics
To create or declare a constant in Swift use let keyword. The main difference between constants and variables is that you can’t change a value of a constant in the future.
Open a swift playground and type:
let gender = "Male"
let eyeColor = "Black"
Human gender and eye color usually don’t change in the future and are the good examples of constants.
As a result you will see the following in your playground:
